Specie Description
Tigerwood is a highly distinctive exotic wood with vibrant reddish-brown tones and prominent black striping that varies in thickness from fine strokes to thick contours. Its interlocked grain is also wavy and irregular, complimenting the wood’s dynamic appearance. Tigerwood is ranked among the more durable hardwoods with a Janka hardness rating of 1850, making Tigerwood a visually striking floor that lasts.
Grading
Clear grade material is color matched in most species of wood. This is the highest grade available in flooring items. No open defects are allowed and material is 100% heartwood. No breaks, no splits, no cracks. In tropical flooring, tight knots and burls are typically downgraded from Clear to Select grade.

Unfinished Solid Flooring - The ultimate wood floor. Unfinished flooring is installed and then sanded and finished on site. For new residential construction, solid unfinished flooring is the preferred choice. Material can be stained and then finished with the customer's choice of gloss level: satin, semi-gloss or high-gloss. Material can also be re-sanded and re-finished many times over offering the customer a floor which will last generations.
